I’m interested in adding my comic strip to Girlamatic… how do you go about doing submitting a comic?

I’m doing a weekly comic about College Life from the perspective of Gigi, a terrier mix at Animal Univesity – a school for pets. The first installment is almost complete. I have some more shading to do and some consistency issues to fix (making sure colors are correct from frame to frame)

Oh, how cute! Nicely done!

I’m actually putting together an “official” submission page.
We have contributors and creators. Creators make our comics (this is by invitation or pitch to the Editor email only), and contributors makes our main page content (ie mini-comics, blogs, etc.) Sometimes these people are both!

I’m always up for suggestions, but the GAM roster is small for a reason, and it changes infrequently.
I’m looking for strips, guest essays/blogs, and minicomics for the main site all the time.

You should send a pitch for anything you think would work on GAM to gam.editor@gmail.com for right now.

Thanks for your interest!

Thanks for the response! I’ll check back later today for the submission page. This comic is something that will be once a week for sure.

Sometimes these people are both, but homepage changing featured content is currently by email pitch basis only right now.

Series right now are purely invitation only unless a tremendous pitch crosses my email from a comic I’ve never seen.

Just to clear this up a bit cause I’m sort of confused (there’s a surprise e___e) but if we want to submit a comic strip or idea we send it to gam.editor@gmail.com? If its like a comic that updates daily/weekly/monthly/yearly/regularly?

Contributors are bloggers or one shot comics, or anything on the main site.
Creators are the comic creators who have on going strips or stories.

I’m actively looking for contributors, and occasionally I scout for new creators.

All pitches for content (both of these) get sent to that email address. :)
