We have reached the end of Chapter Four! Hooray! I’m pleased that we get to start the new year with a new chapter. The action is about to pick up!

Remember I mentioned that I would be a guest on The Webcomic Beacon? Well, that episode is now up and ready for listening or downloading. We end up talking a lot about Star Trek, especially the original series. Y’know, there was a time when I had every episode memorized, but it’s been so long since I’ve watched any of them, even in reruns. I may have to look into purchasing the remastered editions….

And please come back January 1st for a special New Year’s (and First-Friday-of-the-Month) bonus!

Please know that I’m really enjoying this series and I like the artwork you’ve been putting out. That being said, I confess that the Hiawatha looks to me like some future car (think anti-gravity) that’s crashed. I half expect Buck Gordot to step out with the idiot cab drive guy from New Hong Kong. Of course, they’d be REALLY big! :-) ).

BTW, I’m curious if you have some sci-fi purpose for the extra tube on the right side over the starboard main engine tube (I assume that’s what that is). An FTL communications array?

    Just wondering. :-)

@Quieteyes: It does kinda, doesn’t it? :-D Sadly, spaceships are not my forté, which probably explains why the Galaxion looks like it does! The extra tube does have a purpose, but I haven’t yet worked out what exactly it is…

G’waaan, just say “Inertial dampers” everyone else in sci-fi does it..
