So far I love, love, love this comic but I think something’s up with ya’lls site.
I am unable to see the last two updates and whenever I click on the homepage I get “An internal server error occurred. Please try again later.”
Could just be something on my end but I thought you’d want to know.
Keep up the great work. ^..^
I get the same problem if I try and look at the site late Monday night. it usually clears up by Tuesday or so, I figured it was something to do with the timing on the uploads…
Interesting, the River Goddess doesn’t know what our girl is…
I am a lurker who realized how rude it is to lurk around and never show my appreciation by commenting! So rude of me. Terribly rude. I do hope you’ll forgive me.
I absolutely adore this comic–both the style of the artwork and the characters and story itself. This page is interesting, and I’ve been trying figure out the implications in the last two pages. Hm… Who is the River Goddess? Why doesn’t she know Sombath? It would appear as though Sombath knows *her* by the single-panel “flashback” of the last page. Hm….
your quite correct! Since we had so many server problems in the last several weeks, we wanted to give readers one week to catch up without stumbling onto a spoiler, and without being greeted with a broken page. Back to business as usual next week tho!
If you recall the legend, Sombath had a daughter, who was taken away by Earth, and named River, as a hostage so that Sea could never dry out the earth again. This woman appears to be a Goddess of a river. Sombath is making some assumptions here.

Didn’t mean to go back and reread the whole thing – but now it is big (

I’m not sure it’s “rude” but your commenting is very much appreciated ^_^

Still loving it. Keep up the awesome work.
I’m confused.
why “baby”
are river goddesses supposed to be fertility spirits? why would this goddess ask one for a baby (which is the only thing i can infer)?

OH! I had that confused, I thought that statue-goddess was the daughter! thank you
