Panel 1: NEEVE, teary, approaching Morna, who is suspicious and perhaps indifferent.
NARR: LATER
NEEVE: Morna? Can I have a hug?
MORNA: Um… I have a cold?
Panel 2: NEEVE, wiping eyes with knuckle, and Ellis, who is sort of startled and maybe offended.
NARR:Even later…
SFX: snif
NEEVE: Ellis? Can I have a hug?
ELLIS: WHAT?? Can you what? NO! What’s wrong with you? Are you crying?
Panel 3: Neeve, weeping, approaching Scar, who is smiling.
NARR: Later still…
NEEVE: Scar? Can I have a hug?
SCAR: Of course, Neeve. You alright?
SINEAD (off panel): STOP!
Panel 4: NEEVE recoiling, SINEAD leaning in past Scar and yelling, SCAR, surprised.
NEEVE: HISS!
SINEAD: Who are you and what have you done with Neeve?
Scar is hot but Neeve is sad cute!
I know! As I was drawing this page I started to feel bad for teasing Neeve a little bit! Aw, poor Neeve! Your frosty ways have made people reluctant to be vulnerable with you! Of course, in this case, it turns out to be a good thing that rest of the group isn’t used to Neeve asking for hugs…
