haha! My friend who is also 26 just got his license a few months ago. I got mine like 2 days after turning 16. xD Driving ftw!

I’m just now learning how to drive too. I feel better reading that. I’m 27 and people have been making me seem Like I am crazy because I can’t.
I started going for my licence once i turned 16. My parents were sick of driving me everywhere XD

I waited to get mine as well, and I know people who STILL don’t have it who are almost 30. Driving isn’t as important as it used to be!

LUCKY. My dad made me get my license as soon as I could. I didn’t get it until seventeen though… Vermont makes you wait like a year after you get your permit to get your license! Grats though on finally getting yours!
I feel I should also mention I’ve been through 4 learner’s permits and I currently have an expired one in my wallet still. I’m about to set out to get my state ID at least

I read all your comics and I couldn’t help but comment. I’m 19 and I still don’t have one….I’ll probably end up just like you….I don’t think I’m getting one any time soon >_<
I avoided getting a license until I was 18. Spiderman the movie had come out (can’t remember if it was the 1st or 2nd) and I really wanted to see it. My parents went to see the movie on one of their date nights, without telling my sister and I, and then refused to drive us to theaters so we could see it. (When I objected to this injustice they informed me they didn’t have to take me to see it and I could wait for the DVD.) So naturally I took great offense to this and immediately set out to get my license (cause I was the oldest of my friends and no one else had a license yet).
That’s why I got my license. Spiderman. Yeah, I’m such a nerd.

I was 18 1/2 when I got mine and I haven’t stopped driving my family around yet! I am the driver in the family. I’m 24 now. Sometimes I wish that I had made my sister the designated driver but I’m the oldest so it’s not so easy to do. Aaaand my sister failed her driver’s test 5 times. She’s good now though.
wow and i thought i was alone when it came to putting off getting a license. though i had to get mine if i wanted to get to work.
My excuse=I was hit by a truck and was thus traumatized for life.

I totally sympathize – when I was in High School, driving was NOT a priority – not to mention that my family was poor and we never had a reliable vehicle for me to learn on. It was sometime before I got my Driver’s Liscence. *hugs* no need to be embarrassed. there are many of us out there.
