Welcome to the start of Exchanges chapter 2: Heartaches! We’ve been having some technical difficulties around Girlamatic lately, if you haven’t noticed, so we’re off to kind of a rough start, and there are still some bugs in the system. I havent been able to see the comic in about a week. It doesnt show a picture just a link.
Please please please read the descriptions under the comic and the most recent blog post. I have been aware of the problems for as long as they’ve been happening and there’s nothing I can personally do to fix it until Girlamatic’s techs can figure out the problems and fix the bugs. I’ve been trying to keep everybody alert to the problems and their progress, and I’ve provided a link to a mirror site where the comic is being updated, and changed the http://www.skindeepcomic.com URL to point to it until Girlamatic’s issues are addressed. : )
LoL, I wonder what Missis Gillis thinks of Blanch? … Her last name Gillis, seems to imply that the gill thing runs in her family unknown to her.

Anyway, SOOO glad you’re back on track with the main story! I’m on my toes to find out what the heck Anthony has turned into! But now I’ve got to get used to only one Skin Deep-related update a week again :(
I’ll really miss the Question-doodles, did you ever thought about doing them regurarly, like once a week, or every two weeks? Or would that be to much work? That would be awesome, but just the comic alone is to good to be true anyway, so thanks again for sharing it here with us for free!

i think that the’re just spots, like on his arms. i would guess something aquatic myself. the way he was drawn made him look like he could easily be dripping, if that makes sense.
I’m thinking he’s going to be aquatic like on the previous cover page. That and the painting of the water in the house gives me a feeling that his mum might like water due to a genetic thing.
Or his mother could like the water because she grew up on an island. :)

In my experience it’s one of those all-purpose expletives, like “son of a bitch”. I’m guessing what the hell/holy crap is a pretty much what Blanche is thinking
Woot! Now, Madam has a lot of explaining to do about that medallion she gave Tony. And hopefully, she hasn’t sold it.
No one would have needed to buy the medallion because medallions can only affect one person at a time, so even if another human who fit the criteria for that medallion came along and tried it like Anthony did, it wouldn’t do anything to them because it’s already active, so they would have no need to buy it.
True, true. Way Tony’s life has just been turned upside down, would have just been some rotten luck if it had been like that.
I went back to see if I could tell what the medallion was, but you didn’t reveal it, you trickster, you. Seems reptilian. Dragon? Naaaah. :-)

Speaking of such, Anthony Bloodcarver would be such a badass name.
Dragon was my first thought, but I still say I’d be highly disappointed if it were the case, as it would just make Anthony a male version of Michelle. It wouldn’t even make sense — the only medallion Tony touched was the one that Madame U handed to him during the test. Why would she start the test with a medallion that is for a species that is supposed to be extinct? Would it not be more logical to try the most common ones first?
Remember that Tony touched another medallion just before Madame U was introduced. Blanche was trying to remember if it was a medallion for a nixie or a nook. He wasn’t sure if there was much difference. Madame U interjected that there was a big difference.
